Light
I like interesting angles and jaw dropping light. The first three photos are from my parents house. One night I was walking to my room and I noticed how on the wall a shadow of sorts of what's on top of the piano was projected on to the wall. I thought it looked pretty cool so I had to take pictures of it.
The fourth one is from my apartment. I was getting set for bed one night when noticed how the light came in through the shades. Again I had to take a picture of it.
The tear in my pant leg is an example of an interesting angle.
The shoe pictures were taken the same night as the wall ones. The natural light coming in was amazing. It was magic hour and I was walking up the stairs when I noticed it hitting my shoes. Once again I had to take some pictures!

Smoke Screen
I got to thinking the other day how pretty smoke can be. I love its twists and turns. I love how it coils around something or bounces off a wall. It's amazing. Except, you know, that whole second hand smoke causes cancer thing. I took one for the team for my art the other day. I attempted to catch smoke at its finest. It was far more difficult then I imagined it would be. I'm going to try it again soon.
And no. For anyone that knows me I didn't start a smoking habit. I needed something to try with and had no problems with wasting a few cigarettes!

Artsy
The first one of these was a mistake. I accidentally hit the flash before I took the picture. I thought it was sort of cool looking so I took a few more with the flash on.

Drops in the water
And now for some pure artsy shots.
I was water color painting the other day (oh and don't get too excited over me water coloring. Fourth graders are better then me) and noticed when I dipped my brush in the water it made pretty designs. So I decided to take some pictures of it. And then later I tried it with putting a drop of food coloring in a glass.

The first two are from the paint and the rest are food coloring. I'm going to try it again sometime soon.
